Gift of Life Transplant House | A Legacy of Overcoming

Premiering officially in October of 2024, experience the heartwarming journey of the Gift of Life Transplant House and the life and story of its founder Edward P. Pompeian, and many of the key figures who made the organization go from a dream to a reality. Gift of Life Transplant House is a sanctuary for transplant patients and their families in the heart of Rochester, Minnesota. See the inspiring stories of courage and resilience as guests navigate through the challenges of organ transplantation. Addressing the emotional and physical struggles to financial hurdles, witness how this community-driven initiative offers support, hope, and a home away from home for transplant patients and caregivers from around the world. In this documentary, join us in celebrating the legacy of overcoming adversity and embracing life at the Gift of Life Transplant House.

This documentary is being received with great reactions during pre-screenings of the film, and brings together stories, lost photos, old television broadcasts, and memories from many of the people involved, to tell an emotionally compelling history of the organization which will be passed along for decades to come.

Fragments of Us

My new documentary explores the ways Americans and Europeans are wrestling with the same challenge of losing existential meaning and heroic spiritual purpose in the modern world. This documentary is very much a passion project and was my first large scale documentary produced on a shoestring budget.

In Fragments of Us (2024) a Scandinavian-American visits the homeland for the first time, questioning what it is to be an American in an increasingly multi-factional country while exploring the existential challenges faced by everyday young Norwegian men looking for higher spiritual purpose and heroic meaning in an age of Americanized and globalized modernity.

Although focused around Swedish, Norwegian, and American cultural issues, many are saying the documentary's focus on dissolution of identity, spiritual purpose, and the rise of internet subcultures and political division is profoundly relatable to people from every background.
